Welcome to May 2019 Camera clips. Yes you are quite correct, it is actually June. However my intention was that this would be the May edition.
Banners come from the competition entries under the theme of “the elements”. Above is am abstract image based on Still Water by Meredith Retallack. Below Mining Sulphur by Judy Sara and below that Victoria Falls by Kerry Malec. You can see the highest scoring images on the club webpage.
We were unfortunate in that our judge on the night had met with injury and was unable to attend. Mark Pedlar stepped in and judged, but it meant that the scores for that night were voided. We must extend our thanks to Mark.
This month we have just 4 articles.
“Concept photography“, “The elements” and “Understanding Negative Space”, Smoke Photography. All were written to explore themes that came out of club competition, and the Dogwood challenge.
Addendum – almost forgot, Ray Goulter has handed me a report on the presentation by our guest speaker Stavros Pippos.
