On May 17th the club had an excursion to the Mt Lofty Botanical Gardens. The freeway was blocked in the morning and some members had some difficulty finding the bottom car park. But it was worth the effort. Jen commented – all the big guns were out. I guess she was referring to herself, Graham, Howard, Chris, Ashley and myself. We were equiped with an image list to guide us, a bare tree, a single leaf, a fungus, an autumn landscape, people, bark, water and so on. Well it was a glorious day with blue skies and full sun. I have included images from those who were able to attend.
It was interesting to see that Chris and I took a similar leaf from different angles. Graham found a poor swan with it’s head under it’s wing, waiting for the photographers to go away so that it could sleep. I was given several landscape photos and Panoramas.

Here are more of our photographers, the so called big guns; Graham, Jen on her tummy photographing mushrooms and Ashley the one under the sheet.
Here are the Mushroom Photos:
Howard Shultze borrowed my monopod and managed to get some good angles on the sculpture and the spillway for the dam.
It was a good outing and certainly one worth repeating. Thanks to those attending.
